As usual new Firmware notifications will be automatic, and system will prompt users of the presence of new updates once powered unit is connected to a Windows PC or Android devices or iOS devices with Internet connection active.

For those with Brain2/iKon2 that do not frequently use the APP/Software (because the flight controller unit is fine as it was set up), let’s take a look at what is coming with this update (for free) in addition to previous versions already released:

– Software: 3.4.275, Firmware: 3.4.275 (72° official release), 18 February 2026:

NOTE: for users utilizing the Crossfire protocol: it is necessary to perform an automatic “Discover New” of the telemetry parameters to activate the new parameters and then manually delete the obsolete ones that are no longer transmitted. For updated information, refer to section 12 on page 14, ‘Crossfire’ in the new version of PDF manual “Telemetry.”

  • Increased the precision and the refresh rate of External Variometers (Barometers)
  • Added decoding of the “Atmospheric Pressure hPa” parameters of the External Variometric sensors, now included in the recordable parameters
  • Added decoding of the “Air Temperature °C” parameters of the External Variometric sensors, now included in the recordable parameters
  • Added a decimal place to the vertical scales of the variometer parameter graphs (AbsAltitude, RelAltitude, Vspeed) relating to decimeters per second in the Realtime & Recorded Logs sections
  • Implemented decoding of Kiss telemetry from BLHeli_31, AM32, ESCape32 ESCs (e.g. SEQURE)
  • Revised and updated some icons of panel 3
  • Increased and simplified for ELRS and TBS the parameters of Crossfire telemetry to V3. Now other than the RX telemetric parameters there are other 8 + 3 parameters. A rescan and rename is required. See section 12 on page 14 the new version of PDF manual “Telemetry”
  • Revised and updated all the 114 schematics of panel 4 to better clarify certain connections and options
  • Revised and updated icon of panel 9 when “Tail motor driven” is selected in panel 7
  • When “Tail Motor Driven” is selected in panel 7, the reverse function of the icon of panel 9 can no longer be activated by mistake
  • Changing in panel 9 the value of the central pulse (that serves to correctly counteract the rotor torque at take-off and/or with “Heading Lock” function deactivated, that prevent the model from rotating when the skids leave the ground) the negative and positive excursion values are automatically compensated to avoid modify of the end stops
  • In panel 9 ”Tail Rotor Setup” of the Wizard, the numerical values are now more clearly visible
  • Added the yellow event n.118 “Bind Plug Recognized”
  • Added the yellow event n.119 “Bind Software Recognized”
  • Added the yellow event n.120 “When motor start, Auto Level is already active”
  • Added the red event n.162 “CPU Overtemperature”
  • Revised calculation of QOS parameter values for UDI12 and UDI16 protocols to cover the entire range of adjustable frame rates with Jeti radio between 5ms and 30ms
  • Revised calculation of QOS parameter values to manage the different durations of the various SUMD, SRXL12, and SRXL16 protocols with telemetry
  • Revised calculation of QOS parameter values during any fail-safe events of the S.Bus and S.Bus2 protocols
  • From now, when you save a Realtime log or a Recorded Log, the date and time when it was saved, is displayed when you load the log file
  • In DIAGNOSTIC, Realtime Log tab shortened and compressed the names of loggable parameters so that they are all visible even with reduced screens and/or low resolutions
  • By selecting ”Fast 760us Servo” in the ”Motor Control” drop-down menu in panel 1 of the Wizard, the Out MIN and Out MAX values of Throttle Out signal in panel 12 are already automatically halved
  • In panel 12 of the Wizard the reverse button for the Throttle output appears only for combustion engines (“Motor Is Electric” checkbox disabled)
  • The minimum gain value of Auto Level has been reduced from 20% to 15% to achieve a smoother stabilization in scale models
  • To correctly manage future ESC firmware updates, in the ESC telemetry selection drop-down menu on panel 12 of the Wizard, the ”ZTW” and ”XDFly” items have been separated into two different selections
  • Added to the ”Model” drop-down menu in panel 1 ”Align T-Rex 650 Electric”
  • Added to the ”Transmitter” drop-down menu in panel 1 ”Walkera” used from some users
  • Added to the ”Transmitter” drop-down menu in panel 1 ”Kavan”
  • Added to the ”Motor Control” drop-down menu in panel 1 ”ESC XDFly”
  • Added to the ”Motor Control” drop-down menu in panel 1 “ESC BLHeli_32”
  • New versions (v31) of the “Integrations” have been released. For EdgeTX (Brain2OpenTX-EdgeTX.zip & Brain2crossfire.zip) to prevent the screen from turning black after updating EdgeTX to version 2.11.4 and be able to run also on the bigger screen of RadioMaster MK3 transmitters (800×480 pixel)
  • Added some functions in the firmware for diagnostic purposes to facilitate and speed up diagnosis and technical support to users who request it
  • Corrected, improved, updated, and made some label and some title and some paragraphs of the instructions and balloons clearer and/or more complete
  • New version of the embedded document “README_for_ESC_datas_log_and_telemetry.pdf”
  • New version of the embedded document “README_for_OpenTX_EdgeTX_integration_for_BRAIN.pdf”
  • Revised French instructions
  • Improvements / optimization / compression / size reduction / code speedup
