As usual new Firmware notifications will be automatic, and system will prompt user of the presence of new updates once powered unit is connected to a Windows PC or Android devices or iOS devices with Internet connection active.

For those with Brain2/iKon2 that do not frequently use the APP/Software (because the flight controller unit is fine as it was set up), let’s take a look at what is coming with this update (for free) in addition to previous versions already released:

 – Software: 3.4.126, Firmware: 3.4.126 (62° official release), 20 July 2023:

  • Crossfire channel reception up to 16CH (with ELRS and Packet Rate 333Hz Full)
  • New Brain2Crossfire.zip version of Crossfire Integration package (Release Notes inside) that now other than TBS work also with ELRS External Module. Note: this version of the LUA app work only starting from this new firmware and for both TBS and ELRS external modules
  • Added the new “High Vibrations” Event that is triggered if Global Vibrations continuously exceed 200% for at least 4 seconds. Even if the Global Vibrations continue to remain above 200% the event is not repeated until 2 minutes have elapsed
  • In panel 3 updated the F.Port protocol icon
  • In panel 12 of the Wizard moved the section “Sensor Input:” right after the first section “Setup Throttle Out & RPM reading:” since the two sections are related to each other
  • Swap the positions of panels 11 and 13 of the Wizard with each other
  • Clarified, completed, improved and updated some instructions and some message boxes
  • Changed some labels in the app and also in the Integrations to be clearer (EG: “VSpeed” to “Vertical Speed”)
  • Revised French instructions
  • New version of the document “README_for_OpenTX_EdgeTX_integration_for_BRAIN.pdf” (+TBS)
  • New version of the document “README_for_ESC_datas_log_and_telemetry.pdf” (+ELRS)
  • Improvements / optimization / compression / size reduction / code speedup

Android / iOS app’s:

All new features and improvements already listed for this “Software & “Firmware” release

Revised firmware update procedures to make them more stable on some devices that were experiencing problems

As usual, the release of Android and especially iOS apps publication still needs some time for testing and approval by Google & Apple

Enjoy!
