As usual new Firmware notifications will be automatic, and system will prompt user of the presence of new updates once powered unit is connected to a Windows PC or Android devices or iOS devices with Internet connection active.
For those with Brain2/iKon2 that do not frequently use the APP/Software (because the flight controller unit is fine as it was set up), let’s take a look at what is coming with this update:

- Improvements, changes, and corrections to previous version 3.4.100 as per user suggestions and reports
- Added the management of new Brain2/iKon2 batch
- Revised the routine of “Tail Motor RPM2” parameter to be able to record higher speed
- Added the checkbox for VARIO telemetry also in ADVANCED
- In Spektrum Integration added the checkbox for VARIO telemetry and the loggable parameters “Rel.Altitude” & “VSpeed”
- In Graupner Integration added the checkbox for VARIO telemetry and the loggable parameters “Rel.Altitude” & “VSpeed”
- New version of “Brain2Jeti.zip” integration files (release notes inside zip file)
- New version of “Ethos_Integration.zip” files (release notes inside zip file)
- New version of “Brain2OpenTX-EdgeTX.zip” Integration for Horus transmitters (release notes inside zip file)
- Added the actual software version on the top of the firmware update window
- Changed title of the panel 3 of the Wizard from “Receiver Selection” to “Receiver Protocol Selection”
- Revised some title of Wizard to better understand which are mandatory or optional setup (for simplified and expedited setup)
- Added to the description of Basic telemetry parameters logged “RPM2” & “Ext PWM”
- Changed the description of the loggable parameter “External PWM Input” to “Ext. Std PWM Input” to make it clearer that are expected impulses with 1520uS (Std.) center pulses and not impulses with 760us center pulse
- Revised the instructions of the COUNTERS (Timers) section of the Wizard
- Revised French instructions
- New version of “README_for_ESC_datas_log_and_telemetry.pdf” document (“Tail Motor RPM2 & PWM” section)
- Improvements/optimization/compression/size reduction/speed up of the code
Android / iOS app’s:
All the new functions and improvements already listed for this “Software & “Firmware” release
For iOS revised the vertical size of the app for some iPhone devices
As usual for the Android and especially iOS app publication is needed some more time for Google & Apple approval
