As usual new Firmware notifications will be automatic, and system will prompt user of the presence of new updates once powered unit is connected to a Windows PC or Android devices or iOS devices with Internet connection active.
For those with Brain2/iKon2 that do not frequently use the APP/Software (because the flight controller unit is fine as it was set up), let’s take a look at what is coming with this update:
- Software: 3.4.099, Firmware; 3.4.099 (56°), 10 February 2023:
- Improvements, changes, and corrections to previous versions when YGE ESC telemetry is active with F.Bus protocol
- With ETHOS (and also OpenTX & EdgeTX) the telemetry value of Power Output of the ESC (PWM) is changed from sensor “1000” (working with OpenTX & EdgeTX but not working with ETHOS) to GASS. %
- With ETHOS there are problems do not present with the other OS (OpenTX and EdgeTX but also all other telemetric OS) with the sensor “Fuel” used for “Global Vibrations”: when the Global Vibrations value rise the 100% value ETHOS generate a “Sensor Lost” message. So, it is not possible to receive Global Vibrations with ETHOS and the Fuel sensor automatically discovered must be manually deleted
- With ESC Avian / Firma transmitting TexGen menu, activated the same procedure of controlling the signal transmitted to the Smart Throttle output (CH1) of Spektrum “basic” receivers (EG: AR6610T, AR8020T) and Spektrum “normal” receivers (EG: AR410, AR620) to disable FCU TextGen menu, also with “remote” receivers (EG: SPM4650, 4651T, and 9747)
- In panel 11 of the Wizard, the Auto Level and Rescue functions manageable through the three Setups and those manageable through a radio channel assigned to the B-Aux1 function have been separated by two subpanels from, so that it is clearer to users that they are two separate and distinct things
- The parameter “RxThrottle” loggable in the DIAGNOSTIC section, is no longer affected by the “Throttle Cut” event from which it is now totally independent
- Improvement in the time required for the initial Wireless connections between PCs and flight controllers
- Various improvements in SW, FW, and Update Servers to enable us to provide better, faster, and easier technical support service
- Revised some English labels / descriptions
- Revised some Italian labels / descriptions
- Revised French instructions
- Improvements/optimization/compression/size reduction/speed up of the code
