Hi i have a problem with my new TB70, when im on the field with blades on, and i spool up, the swash dont move, if i take off the blades and spool up, the swash goes up and down as it should, i cant seem to figure out what is wrong, it run on 2 X 6S 5200mah, brain 2 gyro, hobbywing 180A V5 esc with bec set to 8 volts, kst X20 servo set 3 X 2208 and 1 1035 for tail, Aligen dominator RCM-BL800MX 570KV 4530, if i give full throttle i can see in brain programe, that i can only give max 1750 RPM and it should have 2200 - 2400 RPM, if i use brain gonover, it goes up and down in RPM.
Any one know what could be the isue ??

Thanks from Rico

Thanks for the files.

(In panel 1 of the Wizard for main blades you have set ‘Unlisted’. Can you tell us what brand of blades you are using so we can see if we can include them in the Main Blades list?
Thank you)

If you have correctly saved the configuration file for diagnostic purposes as explained in the message that appears just before saving the file, we can see that in panel 5 the travel of the Aileron and Elevator channels do not reach 100% and must therefore be corrected in the transmitter, furthermore the Pitch signal that with the sticks held down and both towards the centre should be at -100% is instead at -30%.
Furthermore, we see that the tail gain controlled by the transmitter is at 25% which is an unusually low value for a 700 class model like the TB70.

We also see that in Wizard panel 11 you have not selected any flight style. Therefore the flight parameters have not been configured.

immagine

For the values of Throttle Out MIN and Throttle Out MAX you have entered the values 1400us and 1750us respectively.
However, page 27 of the Align TB70 manual (as all Hobbywing manuals) states that the minimum and maximum value of the throttle signal sent to the ESC should be 1100us and 1940us respectively.
You must therefore correct the two values.

The main rotor RPM graphs in the Recorded logs you sent us are completely out of scale and well over 6000rpm.

immagine

This is because in the ‘Main Gear Ratio’ divider you have entered a value of 2.272 which is extremely low compared to normal values.
Page 33 of the Align TB70 manual states that the Main Gear Ratio should be 9.38, so you should correct the value.
If the dividers are wrong and the value of the measured rotational pulses does not correspond to the actual value, the Governor will never work properly.

Also for the Tail Gear Ratio divider you entered 1.173 which is also an extremely low value compared to normal values.
In the same page 33 of the Align manual for the Tail Gear Ratio, a value of 4.83 is given (except for the super combo which has a Tail Gear Ratio of 5.0. However, we do not know which is your model) which are both much more normal and logical values.

We also note that in panel 12 you have activated the ‘Min V to Go’ function. We would like to remind you (although already explained in the balloon of this parameter) that if you feed the model with a battery that is not fully charged, the throttle will be blocked for three attempts and the elevator swashplate will signal the problem by moving the elevator swashplate three times to warn you that you are starting a flight session with a battery that is not fully charged and may over-discharge and thus damage it.

There are some ‘Rx Fail Safe’ events in the event file. We cannot know whether these are normal events because the transmitter was switched off and on again during setup or they are real Fail Safe events. If in doubt, we suggest that you check that your Spektrum receiver has the latest version of Spektrum firmware because previous and older firmware versions had this problem and if a Fail Safe occurs in flight, even a very short one, the ESC will slowly restart the motor performing the soft start procedure with the risk of not having enough RPM to sustain the model and avoid a crash.

Well for the first, the blades are caled GCT X-PERT, they are german made, and the company who made them are caled Der Blattschmied ( the bladesmeth )
i tryed to play wiht that govenor, i cant  hit the right rpm with the TX, so i kind a gave up on that, and i played with mah max usable, if i turn off to do some ajustments the swash goes grazy 🙂 so i turnd that off again, i will turn it on when im done with the setup, i resat to factury, it where easier for me 🙂
