I just got a new Tribunus 80 for my LOGO 480.  Wired it all up as the manual suggests and did the appropriate settings in Brain gov menu for Tribunus telemetry.

In OpenTX telemetry sensors I get all of the applicable sensors (Battery voltage, ESC current, BEC current, Tmp1, etc) however none of them have any data... they all read 0: 0 Volts, 0 Amps, 0 Degrees, etc.  I also looked in Realtime Logs and nothing is there.

Computer communication signal is connected to Ch5.  Motor spins up as it should when I turn off throttle hold.  But I get no data in the realtime or from telemetry in my radio.  Everything is just 0.

I found this thread on HeliFreak and he seems to have the same issue:

https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=805393

He ended up just connecting the Tribunus directly to his Jeti receiver instead of using Brain.  That's not an option for me because I'm not using Jeti.

Any ideas?  Maybe an issue with the ESC?  The ESC communication works I know for sure because it connects fine to my PC with the V-Link II.  It's only that the Brain is not receiving anything from the ESC.  I also tested an entirely new Brain2 (unused) and it also does the same behaviour.

Figured it out.  Read the manual for the 54th time and read:

"note that with OpenTX protocol the ESC (or temperature) telemetry cable must be connected to pin 6 of port 4-5-6 and not to pin 5."

Works great now 🙂

That's great.
Even if you managed to solve the problem yourself after only an hour, these reports help us to understand what is not clear enough and what and where we can improve in our instructions.
(Updating and maintaining instructions is an endless task).

Thanks.

Yes I definitely think this fact should be pointed out more clearly in the manual.   Or at least pointed out in multiple places instead of only in the one place it was mentioned.

Thank you for your tireless efforts in development.  It is much appreciated 🙂
