YGE 160 HV ESC using Brain2 governor, will it work? If so, which mode select on the ESC?
How to connect the program led of the ESC to the Brain2 GOV port? Will the Vbar adapter cable to speed sensor input of the FBL work?

If you are referring to the old YGE ESC without telemetry (not HV"T") no longer in production and no longer in the catalogue, you can find the latest instructions still available on the YGE website in the ARCHIVE area.

At the bottom of the first page on the left you will find instructions for setting up the ESC in mode 1 (external governor) and how to realize a special cable for this purpose with an image.
To set the ESC in MODE 1 it is suggested the use of an YGE "Program card".
In these old instructions, YGE referred to the "Vbar GOV." only because at that time there were not yet present and spread other flybarless control units with built-in governor in addition to the VBAR. But by the way they clarify (external governor) why the squared impulses sent to each passage of the windings in front of the magnets could be used by any type of governor (at that time were still very common governors dedicated to nitro engines). Obviously these impulses that are equal to the same impulses generated by the most modern ESC are good to be used also by the governor of Brain2.
