Hello
I was going to install the new unit today and got as far as connecting to update the firmware.
When I connect the unit to the USB outlet on the PC it flashes green and red, then settles to a slowly flashing red removed link The PC never detects the unit. The USB outlet is confirmed to be working.
I've tried deleting and reinstalling the computer software with no luck. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, there have been in circulation for some years cheap USB cables used only for charging smartphones but lacking the data connections inside them.
This is done by some manufacturers to save money on the internal copper wires as a result of the constant and continuous increases in the price of raw materials (copper).
