Been using my TX16s dials with (ADVANCED, Calibrations) for pitch expo and pitch pump, though the numbers I'm using work fine, I'm just wondering why the numbers are limited ie if I use tx dial 0 to 100, in the Brain2 it shows maxed Pitch Expo -16 and Pitch Pump 11, thought maybe numbers should equal.
The use of the TX Dials to modify the value of parameters is designed and intended for fine tuning and optimization and not for model setup from scratch.
Moreover, since parameter changes by means of dials can be made while the model is in flight, for security reasons each parameter has its own specific limitations as to the maximum possible excursion (range) and also for minimum and maximum values so that by moving the dials to maximum or minimum or in case of radio noise or glitches there can never be a risk of losing control of the model (e.g., bringing the aileron and elevator rotational speeds to zero), and of course each parameter has its own specific limits that may be different from those of the other parameters.
In the Dials-specific PDF manual that is available in the MANUALS section of all apps (Windows, Android, iOS) or that can be downloaded from the Downloads section of our website and that it is attached to this post for your convenience, there is a table on the last page with the range, minimum and maximum values of each of the flight control unit parameters that can be adjusted using dials.
@customercare Aww thanks makes complete sense, I have since and for while now had my parameter numbers moved over to a switch.
