Hello,
I would like to request the addition of KISS ESC Telemetry support for the Brain 2.
Many of us are starting to use KISS ESCs in our helicopter setups, and it would be amazing to have full telemetry integration (Amps, Volts, mAh consumed, etc.) just like we have with Hobbywing or Scorpion ESCs.
Is this something that could be added to the development roadmap?
Thanks for considering!
Of course,
This is the first time we have read about someone using this brand of ESC on RC helicopters, and searching online on forum and groups dedicated to RC helicopters, we cannot find any users talking about it.
Searching the internet, we cannot find any Kiss ESCs with sufficient output current to handle RC helicopter models.
Can you tell us which ESC model you use on your RC helicopter?
We would also need a link to the manufacturer's website so that we can request documentation and ask them to send us an ESC like the one you use so that we can develop, test and debug it.
Yesterday, new versions of the firmware, configuration software for Windows and seven integrations were released, which include, among many other things, the decoding of Kiss telemetry from ESCs with BLHeli_32 open source firmware (which does not manage the rotation pulse signal output to control the external governor of the flight controller and therefore requires an external RPM sensor for electric motors), AM32 and ESCape32 (which manage a rotation pulse signal output).
