Hi guys,
Is it possible to connect these Remote Receivers (SPM9747) onto the Brain2/Ikon2 FBL unit? The SPM9747 is using the SRXL2 protocol.
Thanks in advance
No.
For the new SRXL2 standard you must use standard SRXL2 serial receivers such as SPM4650 (short range telemetry) or SPM4651T (full range telemetry) connected to the CH3 connector of Brain2.
If you want to have redundancy, just add on SAT1 and/or SAT2 connectors one or two DSMX standard SPM9745 (SPM9746) DSMX satellites.

Hello! So we can not use the two JST socket for the SRXL2 (Question No.26 in FAQ). Thank you

No, only standard DSMX satellites can be connected to the two JST 3-pin side connectors (SAT1 & SAT2).
SRXL2 Receivers must be connected to CH3 connector of Brain2 as explained in FAQ n°26.
To get all the necessary information and understand how, where and what you can connect to Brain2 control units before deciding to purchase them, you can download, free of charge, the Windows software for the setup and configuration of all types of Brain2 control units.
It also works in Demo Mode without any control unit connected and after selecting the type of control unit you want to "simulate" and having selected the type of receiver you want to connect fo the flight control unit, the next panel 4 of the Wizard shows the correct diagram for that type of control unit and that type of receiver.
BUT especially in Demo Mode you can read all the instructions that clarify and explain what you can do and how and many other things.

Merci !
Hello, I come back to you on this topic. I just did all the setup of my goblin 580 (brain2, Hobbywing 130 HV with SPM9747). My problem is that telemetry doesn't work with my radio. I believe that because of this one (DX7 gen 2 EU) . Could you confirm me please. Thanks to you.
Can you share a picture with us to see the wiring.
There is also a question which FW version of the HW ESC you are using - "vbar" versions will ot work at all.
Had similar issue some month ago, made a reset of ESC, loading latest FW, and then all was "clean" and working as expected.
As we have already written, the firmware of Brain2 control units provides as telemetric SRXL2 receivers the "RECEIVERS" SPM4650T or SPM4651T (the latter has a better range for telemetric data transmission).
It is not foreseen the operation using "SATELLITES" (SPM4647) instead of "RECEIVERS".
It could also work "by chance" but we have never predicted it, never tried it, never tested it and we are not expected to try it in the future.
Regardless of this, DX6/DX7 EU transmitters work only at 22ms frame rate and do not work at 11ms frame rate.
This does not cause any kind of problems in the transmission of radio channels or any kind of problems with telemetry, but causes problems in the calculation from Fades, Frame Losses and Holds calculated by our FCUs and transmitted telemetrically.
We have already reported the problem to Spektrum's SPM4651T receiver developer who provided us with a BETA version of the firmware for SPM4651T where the problem of lack of response in the SRXL2 protocol of the receiver binding status (11ms or 22ms) has been solved.
In the beta firmware of our FCUs that we will release shortly, now the Fades, Frame Losses and Holds work correctly also with DX6/7 EU transmitters but in order to have Fades, Frame Losses and Holds correctly calculated also with your DX6/7 EU transmitters at 22ms, first Spektrum will have to officially release the new correct firmware (the beta firmware for SPM4651T receivers that we received from Spektrum for testing, works only with our receivers' serial number).
However, we have been told that this is a low priority for Spektrum, as the old DX6/7 EU is now out of production and no longer in the catalog.
As far as the satellites are concerned we have no idea if the firmware of the SRXL2 satellites works correctly or not.
The problem seems solved. Setting aside low reception, Telemetry works: Adding a wire to the programming port escw 130 hv v4 , on the P (and - for the fan option). and shipments on brain 2 on signal port 5 (middle). there is only the only manually activated telemetry settings desired on the DX7 G2 EU radio ... It remains to understand why I do not have the complete reception ??? tanks ...
... It remains to understand why I do not have the complete reception ???
With "i do not have the complete recption" do you mean that you also have problems with channel reception or only with telemetry data reception?
Have you done a range test to verify that it is not just a problem with the display of the signal bars of your transmitter.?
Good evening. The translator is not ideal ... In fact I did as you say (scope test with telemetry, everything is ok so remains display problem I think also). I think I will change radio because since I have, that problem of the fact that it emits only in 22 ms . Long live Europe ... A big thank you to you for your patience and to stay listening.
A last question: Do you have updated the SPM4651T to the last official version?
I past here the SPM4651T firmware change log for your information:
Version 2.40.0 (June 1, 2020)
-----------------------------
- Fix bug that could prevent telemetry from working on DX6/7 Gen2 radios in 22ms RF modes (thanks PolarFlyer & Bitingwolf)
- Fix bug in which RSSI always reports 100% when using DX6/7 Gen2 EU-mode radios (thanks HeliMLM)
Version 2.39.0 (April 17, 2020)
-------------------------------
- Fix bug in RF reception in EU mode that caused invalid RSSI reporting and increased fades in some radios (thanks chris_0815)
Version 2.38.2 (March 9, 2020)
------------------------------
- Fix SRXL2 telemetry behavior when used with AR6610T or AR637T as a remote receiver
(NOTE: AR637T/AR6610T must be v2.34.1 or higher to realize the full benefits of this improvement).
- Set default SRXL2 channel data to failsafe values during init instead of at RF connect.
- Improve bind reliability.
Version 2.37 (December 17, 2019)
--------------------------------
- Initial release
