I do have motor tail on uBrain.
I'm interessted to check tail speed as well on tranmitter, as sometimes you can see when motor is going to loose power due to overheated magnets.
Is there any chance to connect 2nd RPM (Hobbywing) sensor from tail motor to uBrain ?
No, reading a second RPM sensor, recording the data in the flight logs memory and sending the value to the transmitter via telemetry is not a feature currently available.
Sorry.
But it is an interesting idea that will be added to the "To Do" list.
Thnaks
THANK YOU for releasing the feature already in current firmware.
Most likely I missed this when reading all the documents, but I did not find the info about the connection point.
I simply need to know where to correctly connect the 2nd RPM signal.

Not only:
- Tail Motor Driven: the short tail rotor starts up when the swashplate movements that show that the initialization of the control unit has been completed, are removed
- Tail Motor Driven: Now in addition to the Advanced section, the tail motor limits can also be adjusted from the Wizard's Tail Setup (Output) panel
As you can see from the release notes, when it is possible/feasible and if it makes sense and can interest other users, we always try to satisfy our users' requests.
For more information I suggest you to read the page n°5 of the new version of the document "Telemetry".
If there should be any doubts or unclear information (it's the first version of the documentation for this new feature), just let us know and we will correct / complete the instructions.
Thank you!
Definitely I highly aprechiate all changes linked to tail motor 😉
thx for the hint to read page 5 - this is what I missed when I was screening the documents.
