The same applies to the Servo Chart dropdowns in panel 8 of the Configuration Wizard and to the other dropdowns in subsequent configuration panels.

As explained in the instructions, these pre-settings made via the curtains in the first panel of the Configuration Wizard work only if starting from a "factory defaults" situation of the flight control unit (new flight control unit or reset via the appropriate command in the File menu at the top left) and no settings have yet been made in the subsequent configuration panels. Otherwise, these presets are not executed.
Once the configuration of the subsequent panels has already been done, intentionally any changes in the values of the dropdowns will no longer alter the configurations already made by the user.

In the specific case of the "Model" dropdown, the swashplate type in panel 6 and the blade length used on the model in panel 10 are pre-set.

If there are no models used in the first panel or servo chart lists, it is in no way a problem because the values can still be set in the relevant panels.

In your case having all Align models have a HR-3 120° swashplate, in panel 6 you can manually select the icon for that type of swashplate.
Since the TB40 mounts 380mm long blades as standard, in panel 10 you can manually select the icon for blades with length 325-385.

Or you can select in the first panel of the Wizard one of the Align models of equivalent blade size (Align T-Rex 470L).
